Our Mission
Bloom Beauty Academy seeks to provide women in El Florido, Mexico, with an education in hair, nails, makeup, skin care, and salon business in order to live a successful and dignified life.
Haircutting
Our program curriculum focuses on providing students with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on training in various aspects of hair cutting. Students become familiar with the tools and equipment used in hair cutting, such as scissors, clippers, razors, and trimmers. They learn how to handle, maintain and sanitize these tools effectively.
Styling
Students are taught the skills, knowledge, and techniques necessary to excel in the field of hairstyling and specialize in creating beautiful updo hairstyles. Between weddings and quinceaneras, this is a viable skill for our students.
Color
Our program curriculum covers a wide range of topics related to hair coloring techniques, color theory, product knowledge, client consultation, and salon safety. Students learn the fundamentals of color mixing, application methods, and the effects of different colors on hair types and textures. They also gain an understanding of how to identify clients' color goals, assess their hair, and recommend suitable coloring options.
Makeup
The makeup program provides students with a solid foundation in makeup techniques, industry trends, product knowledge, and professional ethics. Our students are trained to work as makeup artists in various settings such as beauty salons, spas, fashion shows, weddings, and special events.
Facials & Skin Care
Our program covers a wide range of skin care treatments including facials, exfoliation techniques, mask applications, and treatments for the hands, feet and hair. Students study various skincare products, such as cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums, and sunscreen. They learn to analyze skin types and recommend suitable products for different clients based on their specific needs.
Manicuring & Acrylics
Our vocational acrylic nail class is a comprehensive training program designed to equip aspiring nail technicians with the skills and knowledge necessary to create beautiful and durable acrylic nail extensions. Students have the opportunity to work on live models and mannequin hands to gain real-world experience.
